Form GB-31 is a plain gray sealed chart with overall dimensions of 7-5/8 x 11-1/4 in (194 x 286 mm). Some customers find plain gray charts useful for making drawdowns of darker, vibrant colors which are not completely opaque. The gray background simulates a gray primer that would typically be painted over in the field, allowing these coatings to achieve full hiding in a single application.
